How does the extension work?

Galaxy Trucker: Do What?! expands the base game via four new elements that the chaos of Galaxy Trucker taking it to a new level.

Missions are assignments with unique conditions that are scheduled per flight. They range from escorting life-threatening cargo to performing acrobatic flights that test the limits of shipbuilding. Whoever successfully completes a mission earns substantial bonuses. Those who fail pay the price.

VIP passengers are the new protagonists of every flight. Prominent aliens and other galactic celebrities want to get from A to B, and you are their space taxi. Every VIP has a unique special power that influences the flight: some help you, others cause new complications. Via drafting you choose which VIPs to bring on board and weigh their bonus against their risk.

Betting gives the game an extra low-risk reward. Before the flight, players can place bets on their own or others' performance. Whoever wins their bet earns extra credits. Whoever overestimates their own ship loses double.

Supercards are the ultimate injection of chaos. Cards like Meteor Shower trigger a cascade of new dangers that completely turn the standard flight upside down. Via Push Your Luck Weigh up for each action whether to continue or play cautiously, knowing that a Supercard can completely change the playing field.

The Transgalactic Trek is the new overarching championship system: the most prestigious trucking achievement in the known universe. Whoever wins the Trek is inducted into Club Gold and has earned lasting fame in the spaceways.
