What is everdell?

everdell is a worker placement and tableau-building game by designer James A. Wilson, published worldwide by Starling Games and available in Dutch via White Goblin Games. The game is suitable for 1 to 4 players, ages 10 and up, with a playing time of 40 to 80 minutes. In everdell You assume the role of a leader of forest creatures in the idyllic valley of Everdell. Over four seasons, you build a city of inhabitants and buildings, with the goal of having the most flourishing civilization before winter arrives.

How does a game proceed?
