In this extensive expansion you choose to set sail on the high seas. Dominion: Hoist the Sails! In addition to 26 new kingdom cards, it also includes money and embargo tokens, and various tableaus to track the consequences of reaching an island or deploying pirate ships. Furthermore, this game introduces
Expansion durable cards, which remain in play for an additional turn and can thus provide even more advantages for the active player.

In Dominion During the game, try to build the strongest deck possible so you have the most points at the end. The cards in your deck rotate from your draw pile to your hand, and then to your discard pile. When your draw pile is empty, shuffle your discard pile to create a new draw pile. Each turn, you may perform one action and make one purchase. The various cards in your hand help you with this or can increase this number. Money cards constitute your capital for that turn. Point cards don't do anything during your turn, but you will ultimately need them to win the game.

Dominion: Hoist the Sails! can only be played in combination with Dominion or an independent variant thereof (such as Dominion Intrigue). However, this expansion can be perfectly combined with all other (future) expansions on Dominion.
