This isn’t your average trading card game. Goblin Vaults is a strategy card game that challenges 1-5 players to outwit their opponents through bidding, card placement, and scoring patterns. It’s a game that requires both brains and bravado, where you’ll need to play your cards just right to come out on top.

Wager, Win, and Stash Your Loot

In the game, you wager cards to win loot from the central cell block, a tableau building game of sorts. But winning the loot is just the beginning. You’ll need to stash that loot wisely in your vault, earning gears based on the position of cards within that vault. It’s a game of auction and strategy, where every decision could lead to victory or defeat.

Score Big with Clever Scheming

But what’s a game of Goblin Vaults without a little scheming? With cunning and clever scheming, you can influence the warden in your favor and make your bid to be feared amongst your peers. After nine rounds, whoever has the most gears wins!

Three Phases of Excitement

Goblin Vaults is played over nine rounds, each with three phases: the Scheme Phase, the Vault Phase, and the Warden Phase. In the Scheme Phase, you’ll bid on a card in the central cell block. Play a high card to win the bid or play a low card to keep it for yourself. Or match the warden suit to earn a bonus action. In the Vault Phase, you’ll stash loot in your vault to earn gears based on multiple scoring conditions. And in the Warden Phase, you’ll swap the warden card to boost the strength of a card suit in the next round.
